The UGC NET June 2025 exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. It consists of two papers conducted in a single three-hour session without any break.

• Paper 1:
  • Total Questions: 50 (All compulsory)
  • Total Marks: 100
  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Focus: Teaching & Research Aptitude, Reasoning, Comprehension, Communication, ICT, Data Interpretation, and Higher Education System.
• Paper 2:
  • Total Questions: 100 (All compulsory)
  • Total Marks: 200
  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Focus: Subject-specific questions based on the chosen subject.
• Marking Scheme:
  • Each question carries 2 marks.
  • No negative marking.
