IGNOU PhD entrance exam application deadline for the July 2021 session has been extended. The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) PhD entrance exam application deadline for the July 2021 session has been extended by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates interested can submit their applications at ignou.nta.ac.in.
Registration for the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU PhD) Entrance Examination
2021 for admission to various Ph.D. Courses for the Academic Session 2021-22 is in progress. Meanwhile,
representations are being received from candidates seeking extension of the last date for submission of online
applications forms for the exam, on account of difficulties being experienced by them due to COVID-19 and
the disruptions caused by it. With a view to remove hardships caused to candidates and to ensure larger
participation of candidates, it has been decided to extend the last date further for submission of Online
Application Form.
Accordingly, the Extended/Revised last date of submission of Online Application Forms and making
corrections (including Centre Cities of Examination, etc.) in the particulars of the Online Application Form
shall be as follows:
IGNOU PhD entrance exam application important dates
The last date to submit an application for IGNOU PhD entrance exam is January 14, 2022(11:50pm)
The last date for the submission of fees in online mode is January 15 (11:50 pm).
The editing in applications can be done from January 16, 2022 to January 18, 2022(11:50 pm)
“The candidates are requested to undertake the correction(s) very carefully as no further chance of correction will be provided to the candidates after the above-mentioned correction period,” the NTA statement said.
