UGC NET December 2023 Subject wise Exam Date: The University Grants Commission (UGC) and National Testing Agency (NTA) released the UGC NET December 2023 Subject wise Exam Date. According to the update, UGC NET 2023 exam will be conducted by the authority from December 6 to 14, 2023. Candidates can download the UGC NET Exam Date PDF 2023 in this article below.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) and National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the UGC NET city intimation slip for the December cycle 2023. The application correction window was closed on November 3, 2023. The candidates were allowed to apply for the UGC NET exam between September 30, 2023, to October 31, 2023. The UGC NET JRF exam is scheduled to be conducted between December 6 to 14, 2023.
The candidates registered for the NET JRF exam will be able to download their UGC NET admit card through the candidate’s login on the official login page. The candidates have to carry their admit card to the exam centre or they will not be allowed inside the UGC NET exam hall.

The UGC NET December 2023 exam will be conducted by the authority from December 6 to 14, 2023. The Public Administration and Philosophy examination will be held on December 8 in shift 2. The exam for Political Science will take place on December 11 in shift 1 and for Hindi, the exam will be held on December 11 in shift 2. UGC NET Admit Card Date 2023
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the admit card for the UGC NET December cycle soon on the official website-ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The candidates can download the admit card by following the steps given below:
- Go to the official website
- Click on the admit card link for the UGC NET exam
- Enter the details like application number, date of birth, etc. on the login page
- Click on submit button
- The admit card will appear on the screen
- Download the admit card and save it for later use
UGC NET 2024 Exam Date
The National Testing Agency (NTA) relased the exam calendar for the academic year 2024-25 on September 19, 2023. The UGC NET 2024 exam dates have been announced through the exam calendar along with the various exams. Check the tentative schedule of the UGC NET 2024 exam in the table below:

UGC NET 2023 Shift Timings
The UGC NET exam is conducted in two shifts. UGC NET Shift 1 starts from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm whereas the shift 2 exam is carried out from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. However, the candidates must report to the UGC NET exam centre at least 30 minutes before the gate closing time.
- UGC NET Shift 1 Timing: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
- UGC NET Shift 2 Timing: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
