CTET 16 December 2021 Shift-2 exam Cancelled/Postponed: Check Details

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has commenced the Central Teacher Eligibility Test or CTET 2021 from today, December 16 onwards. However, the major update of the hour is the CTET exam cancel news that is trending on social media sites like Twitter.

CTET 2021 examination was supposed to take place over two shifts today. The first paper or Paper I was successfully held in the first shift today but the second paper, which was scheduled for the shift got cancelled.

CTET 2021 second paper which was scheduled from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM has got postponed. As per reports, the paper that was to be held in the second shift had to be postponed due to a server issue. It is advised that candidates do not pay heed to any CTET paper cancel news as the paper was not cancelled but rather postponed.

This notice was put up outside a particular examination center. It says:

This is to inform that the exam of CBSE CTET shift 2, dated December 16, 2021 has been postponed. Those candidates who are to attend this exam will receive a message from CBSE’s side to ensure that the exam has been postponed.

The CTET Exam will be conducted as scheduled in the coming days. The CTET Exam will be held as mentioned in the admit cards of the students. The students appearing for the CTET exams 2021 scheduled on 17th December 2021 should prepare themselves for the CTET Exam.

The CTET exam 2021 commenced today on 16th December 2021. The Paper-I, scheduled in Shift-1 was concluded successfully without any hassle. This is the first time the CTET exam has gone online. Until last year, the CTET exam was conducted offline i.e through pen and paper mode. Now, the Students are in a predicament regarding the new date for the examination.

As per reports, students kept sitting in their examination halls for more than an hour for the question papers to appear on their computer screens. However, later they were informed that Paper-II has been called off as the server went down and the questions papers could not be accessed.

Earlier in November, the UPTET exam was also called off, however, the reason was different.
